Sailor’s Creek Plans Ice Cream Sunday Programs

Sailor’s Creek Battlefield State Park will hold four Ice Cream Sunday programs in August.
The program itself is free of charge, however there is $2 fee for ice cream. The programs will begin at 2 p.m.
Topics for all the events are: Aug. 2 — “Coyotes at the Creek”; Aug. 9 — “The Road to Oblivion, The Ill Fated Evacuation of Richmond and Petersburg”; Aug. 23 — “American Civil War Nicknames and Strange Pronunciations”; Aug. 30 — “Women in the American Civil War.”
The community is invited to attend.
