POWHATAN, July 2 — Mary Lee Atchison, 89, of Powhatan, formerly of Pamplin and Amherst, passed from this life on Monday, June 29, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Charles Atchison.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Powers and her husband, Terry of Powhatan, who were her caregivers for over ten years; her son, Randy of Orange, and a daughter, and two grandchildren.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday July 2, at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery
