Homecoming and revival will begin at Slate River Baptist Church, 3409 Slate River Mill Rd., Dillwyn, Sunday and continue through July 30.  Morning service will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Calvin Booker Sr. delivering the preached word; dinner will follow the morning service.

Homecoming will begin at 3 p.m. with Rev. Robert R. Jones, pastor of Sharon Baptist Church, Farmville, as guest speaker. The Sharon Baptist Church Choir and ushers will be present.

Revival will be July 27-30, with praise service at 7:30 p.m. and revival at 8 p.m. with Rev. Hodari Hamilton, pastor of First Baptist Church, Charlottesville, evangelist. Choirs include: Monday – All for Christ; Tuesday – More Than Blessed, Wednesday – Annie Minter and the Divine Voices; Thursday – Chris and Company. All are invited.
