Cedar Baptist Church VBS
Cedar Baptist Church, located at 3932 Bell Road in Dillwyn, invites everyone to Vacation Bible School beginning July 12 – 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. each night for ages two through high school. The theme for the week will be “To the Edge — Encounter the God of the Universe.” There will also be an adult class each night from 7-8 p.m. For more information call Kathleen Llewellyn at (434) 983-3544.
Staton Town Hall Meeting
District Four Supervisor John Staton will hold a town hall meeting on Thursday, July 16 at 7 p.m. at the Buckingham County Administration Complex on Route 60. All county residents are welcome, including those residing in in Voting District Five. Representatives from the school division, sheriff’s office and social services will be present.
Tent Revival
A tent revival will be held at the Highway of Faith Holiness Church at 27544 North James Madison Highway in Buckingham July 16-18 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. For more information, contact Pastor Virginia Agee at (434) 825-7872. All are invited to attend.
Antioch Union Bible School
The Antioch Union Baptist Church on Union Church Road will have Bible School starting July 12 through 16 every evening at 6 p.m. Thursday will end the program with a hot dog dinner and a program for the families. All are invited to attend.
Fork Union Baptist Church Revival And Homecoming
The Fork Union Baptist Church will hold homecoming services on July 12 at 2:30 p.m. with Minister David Steward of Holcomb Rock Baptist Church in Lynchburg. He will be joined by his choir. Revival will be held July 13-17 at the church with prayer and praise beginning nightly at 7 p.m. and worship at 7:30 p.m. All are invited to attend.
