Editor, The Herald:

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for supporting the recently held American Red Cross Bloodmobile, which was sponsored by the Kappa Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and Farmville Masonic Lodge 41. Because of everyone’s support, the bloodmobile’s quota was met.

First, we would like to thank Dr. Ruth Murphy and the administration of Fuqua School for making their facilities available to us; deep gratitude and appreciation are extended to the blood donors for their continued participation in the bloodmobile and to the area media for the publicity of the event.

In addition, we express our special thanks to Domino’s for its generous contributions to the canteen.

Finally, the American Red Cross Blood Services staff of the Appalachian Regional Blood Services are extended thanks for being prompt, caring, well organized and professional, which helped us to have an unforgettably enjoyable and successful day.
