BUCKINGHAM — Tanner Wise, a fifth-grader at Buckingham County Elementary School, competed at the Piedmont Area Junior Livestock Show on Saturday, May 16, at the Blackstone Livestock Market showing a Market Goat, a Market Lamb, and an Ewe Lamb.

Tanner won first place and grand champion in Junior Goat Showmanship, first place in Reserve Champion Ewe Lamb, second place in Ewe Lamb (115-125 pound weight class), second place in Market Lamb (130-140 pound weight class), fourth place in Junior Lamb Showmanship, and second place in the Market Goat class.

Wise is a member and secretary of the Buckingham 4-H Livestock Club where he has been showing livestock for three years.
