FARMVILLE — Fuqua School students in grades 8 through 12 participated in electing officers to the Upper School Student Cooperative Association (SCA) for the 2015-2016 academic year.
The SCA plays a leadership role in school-wide activities and in the development of student-related policies. It is a citizenship-oriented organization which strives to: create mutual respect between the students and the school community; encourage cooperation and sharing of responsibilities among students, teachers, and parents; promote good sportsmanship in every phase of school and community activity; and develop good citizens.
Thomas Watson, a rising senior, will serve as president of the SCA, and rising senior David Hice will be vice-president. Brad Davis, a rising junior, was elected treasurer, and Lauren Stimpson, also a rising junior, will serve as secretary. Jennings Custis, history/government teacher, is the sponsor of the Upper School SCA.
