B&E Suspect Arrested In Cumberland

CUMBERLAND — A Cumberland County woman is charged with a residential breaking and entering reported on June 18, according to Cumberland Sheriff Darrell Hodges and the Virginia General District Court Online Case Information System.
Jennifer J. Garrigan is being charged with entering a house with intent to commit larceny, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor, according to the Virginia General District Court Online Case Information System and Hodges.
According to Hodges, the break-in was reported at about 10:50 p.m. in the 200 block of Cartersville Road.
“A subject broke into [a] residence at Cartersville Road [and] took some property belonging to the residents there,” Hodges told The Herald.
Garrigan, the suspect, reportedly took jewelry and prescription drugs. Hodges couldn’t place a value on the items.
Garrigan is being held at Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville on no bond, said Hodges.
