Several BCHS students were recently recognized during the school’s academic awards night. Lauralee Powell (left) received the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Award, Michael Mabry (second from left) was recognized for representing Buckingham County at Virginia Boy’s State, Ashley Hellerstedt (second from right) was recognized for representing Buckingham County at Virginia Girl’s State and Melissa Wright (right) received the Randolph College Book Award.
