Beginning on Saturday, May 16, and continuing through October on the third weekend each month, visitors will be able to experience the life of a Civil War infantry soldier on the march. Soldiers will be camped at Sailor’s Creek Battlefield Historical State Park Visitor Center during regular office hours, and will present interactive activities that soldiers actually performed, including cooking, drill and entertainment. Shooting demonstrations will also be conducted. Come and participate as you experience the life of a Civil War solider.
