Every April, on Poem in Your Pocket Day, people throughout the United States celebrate by selecting a poem, carrying it with them, and sharing it with others throughout the day. On April 30, Virginia Regional Library is brining the celebration to Buckingham and Prince Edward Counties by distributing poems throughout the towns of Dillwyn and Farmville, delivering poems to businesses around town, Centra Southside Community Hospital, The Woodland Retirement Community, and of course at the Buckingham and Farmville branches. Street teams will also be handing them out at the Heart of Virginia Festival on May 2.
