Recently seven Fuqua School students competed in the Piedmont Soil and Water Conservation District’s Envirothon held at Longwood University. A natural resources competition for high school students, Envirothon requires students to work in teams of five plus two alternate, and tests them on their knowledge of natural resources — soils, forestry, wildlife, aquatics and a current environmental issue.
