MARCH 19 — John Andrew Schmitt, 31, passed away unexpectedly from a heart condition on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

He is survived by his father, Andrew John Schmitt and wife, Cinda of Dillwyn; his mother, Carol Schmitt of Reston; a sister, Laura Schmitt of Reston; a brother, Peter Schmitt of Howell, MI and step-sisters, Amy Helton (husband, Mike and family) of Green Bay, Dawn Williams (husband, Bobby and family) of Farmville, and Kari Rockwell (husband, Brandon and family) of Prospect.

Visitation will be held at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, March 22 from 6-8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 23 at 1 p.m. with interment in Fairfax Memorial Park.
