William “Buddy” James Fifield Sr., 84

CHARLOTTE CH, February 24 — William “Buddy” James Fifield Sr., 84, of Charlotte Court House, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015. He was born in Lowell MA, on June 5, 1930, to the late Raymond and Alice Fifield.

He served in the US Navy for four years and was on the USS Columbus.

Mr. Fifield is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Mary Delaney Fifield; a son, William James Fifield Jr. of Norwich, NY; two daughters, Debbie Fifield of Charlotte CH and Heather Fifield-Henry and husband, David Henry of Northwood, NH; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Seymour.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 25 in Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Keysville, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 24 (tonight) from 7 to 8 p.m.
