The Race Street Baptist Church Youth Ministry and the Kappa Rho Omega Chapter and the Lambda Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will be sponsoring a Rev. Martin Luther King, Sr. celebration on Monday, January 19, at 1 p.m. at the church on Hill and Franklin Streets.

The Rev. William Johnson III will deliver the Word to spark community involvement and family strengthening. Minister Vatell Allen will provide a thank you presentation to veterans to acknowledge their service.

All veterans, active military members, Race Street families, ASCEND members, and the community are welcome to attend.
