Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meadows, of Farmville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Dean Johnson Meadows, of Cornelius, North Carolina, to Hillary Michelle Sams, of Concord, North Carolina.

Hillary is the daughter of Kirk and Pam Sams, also of Concord, Dean is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson, of Naples, Florida, and the late Fred and India Meadows, of Farmville.

A March 2015 wedding is planned in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
