Longwood Concert To Feature Camerata/Chamber Singers

Longwood University’s Camerata Singers and Chamber Singers will present a free concert Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Jarman Auditorium.
The music, which the choirs recently performed at several high schools in the Lynchburg and Roanoke areas, will include Vaughan Williams’ “Toward the Unknown Regions”; songs by Faure, Delibes, Saint-Saens and Mendelssohn; and folk songs and spirituals.
The choirs are directed by Dr. Pamela McDermott, assistant professor of music, and accompanied by Dr. Lisa Kinzer, professor of music, and adjunct instructor Kristen Topham.
