Johns Memorial Episcopal Church will be celebrating the first Sunday of its new rector, time certain, the Rev. Dr. Nancy Meck, during the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, October 5. Reverend Meck comes to Johns having most recently served at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Midlothian, where she served as associate rector. A High Tea for the new rector will follow the 10:30 a.m. service in the church Parish Hall. There will be no 8 a.m. service that Sunday.
