Fourteen ladies in their red hats and purple attire met at Miller’s Country Store in Farmville for their October 7 luncheon meeting. Member Joanne Stanley, hostess for the day, made the day more festive by decorating the tables with a Halloween theme. Members welcomed back member and publicist, Carol Miller, who had surgery in August and spent over a month in rehab before returning to her home. Members present were Queen Mother Lucille Senger, Geraldine Whaley, Hilda Nuckols, Evelyn Trent, Marian Pylinski, Lee Poor, Marian Falbo, Joanne Stanley, Sara Parmenter, Lilly Pearl Norman, Ann Vuncannon, Virgie Martin, Edith McReynolds, and Carol Miller (not pictured).
