REGARDING PROPOSED VARIANCE OF SUBDIVISION/ZONING

ORDINANCES OF TOWN OF DILLWYN

The Planning Commission, Zoning Committee and the Town Council for the Town of Dillwyn will hold a joint public hearing on Monday, September 22, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in the Dillwyn Town Hall, located at 1030 Main Street in said Town, to consider, pursuant to the request of Patricia D. and Woodrow P. Newton, applicants, and present owners of the hereinafter described lands, and in accordance with the Subdivision Ordinance of the Town of Dillwyn, granting a variance which is being sought with regard to the size of lots in order to reconfigure and subdivide this land into two (2) lots for the purpose of selling each lot with a pre-existing house on each. Each lot would contain at least 0.415 of an acre. This land presently contains, in aggregate, 0.87 of an acre, is designated as TM #138.2-2-61, 62 & 63 and is located at 89 & 99 Conner Street in said Town.

This public hearing and said proposed amendment are hereby advertised pursuant to said Subdivision Ordinance of the Town of Dillwyn. A copy of the plat of the subject parcel, as reconfigured and subdivided, and the present Subdivision Ordinance may be inspected during normal business hours at the Dillwyn Town Hall on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, except holidays.
