Operation Christmas Child will hold a Countdown Event to learn more about OCC and to hear the amazing story of a shoe box recipient on Thursday, Sept. 25, at Farmville United Methodist Church, 212 High Street, Farmville 7-8 p.m.

Each attending church or group will receive 25 Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. The South Central Virginia goal is 14,000 shoebox gifts.
