As part of its mission, the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library seeks to improve the community’s access to information by providing free computer classes to the public. Throughout the month of August they will be offering a “How to” series to address common technology issues, an in-depth series on Windows 8, and three classes on building a personal website with WordPress.

The dates and topics are: 8/12 – How to Download Free Audio Books (4 p.m.); 8/13- Windows 8: The Start Screen (6 p.m.); 8/14 – WordPress: Creating Pages (6 p.m.); 8/19 – How to Use Your Tablet (4 p.m.); 8/20 – Windows 8: Starter Apps (6 p.m.); 8/21 – WordPress: Changing the Appearance of Your Site (6 p.m.); 8/26 – How to Download Apps (4 p.m.); 8/27 – Windows 8: Start Screen Settings (6 p.m.).
