FARMVILLE — Four members of the Prince Edward County High School indoor track team received their Virginia High School League state championship rings at a school board meeting held recently.

The athletes that received rings were Darkeem Gray, My'Qual Lee, Wayne Davis, and DeRon Baugh. These four track members worked as a team and won the VHSL 2A state championship in the 4X200 meter relay event. Gray also took the gold medal in the 55-meter dash during the winter season.

All four champions will begin their senior year at PECHS this August.
