The Southside SPCA will join the YMCA on Saturday, June 14, 8 a.m. to noon for a Donation Drive to benefit the animals of the SPCA. Needed items include: extra large trash bags, paper towels, liquid hand soap, spray surface cleaner, laundry detergent, canned cat food, cat litter (Wal-Mart Brand Natural Clay Litter, in red/blue bag greatly preferred), bleach and mops, canned dog food, Pedigree Canned Puppy Food, grain-free adult dog food and/or Purina Dog Chow, towels, “Kuranda” dog beds. Volunteers and some of the shelter’s residents will be on hand.

All are invited to visit the YMCA, 580 Commerce Rd., Farmville, on June 14 for the Donation Drive.
