The tenth annual African-American History Contest sponsored by Southside Virginia Community College celebrated the winners with a luncheon held in Keysville earlier this year. Christanna Campus student winners were Dana Nikolaisen of Ford — first; Mostafa Negm of Crewe — second; and Amelia Paulette of Alberta — third.
