RESTON, May 13 — Charles (Chuck) F. Weaver, 68, of Reston, ended his three-year battle with cancer Wednesday, April 30, 2014. He was born in Farmville on March 27, 1946.

Mr. Weaver graduated from Prince Edward Academy and enlisted in the US Marine Corps. He served his country during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Susan and beloved Dobermans, Cali and Taz of Reston; sister, Johnna Horton; niece, Kelsey Horton of Birmingham, AL; aunt, Doris Weaver of Farmville; and his father’s wife, Helen of Keysville. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles F. Weaver of Keysville, his mother Alice McRae Clift of Columbus, GA, uncle, Henry Weaver, aunt, Betty Jean Yeatts and cousin, Jackie Sue Yeatts of Farmville.

A private memorial was held Sunday, May 4 in Reston.
