Ms. Wanda Garrett, of Blackstone, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Jessica Bailey Sargent, to Benjamin Tyler Marston, son of Greg and Lisa Marston, of Crewe.

Jessica is a 2011 graduate of Nottoway County Public Schools and is currently enrolled in the RN Program at Southside Virginia Community College in Alberta. She will graduate in May of this year. Jessica is the granddaughter of the late Bailey and Agnes Garrett, of Blacksone. Jessica’s brother, Jax Garrett, of Blackstone, will be giving his sister away in marriage.

Benjamin is a 2009 graduate of Fuqua School and a 2013 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a major in History and a minor in Spanish. He is currently employed with Nottoway County Public Schools as a Spanish teacher. Maternal grandparents are the late George and Betty Dickerson, of Farmville. Paternal grandparents are Carolyn M. Marston and the late Ryland W. Marston, of Crewe.

A June wedding is planned.
