Dorothy Wilkerson Wiseman, 86

NEW CANTON, February 4 — Dorothy Wilkerson Wiseman, 86, passed home to God on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at her daughter’s home in New Canton. She was born January 17, 1928, the second of six children, to the late Camn and Lottie (Ragland) Wilkerson.

She survived by two daughters, Barbara W. Davis (Luther) of New Canton and Judy W. Mills (Randy) of Middleburg, FL; two granddaughters, Lisa Davis-Smith of New Canton and Heather U. Weaver of St. Augustine, FL; four great-grandsons, Stan M. Mitchell, Devin J. Smith, and Eric and Ethan Weaver; great-granddaughter, Ashley M. Davis; two great-great-grandchildren, Gavin M. Mitchell and MacKinzie Painter; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mrs. Wiseman is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, J. Lennie Wiseman, two sisters, Christine Carroll and Eliza K. Branch, three brothers, Edward, William and Shirley Wilkerson, and two grandsons, Luke and Tommy Davis.

A graveside memorial service, to be announced for a later date, will be held at Buckingham Community Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Swan officiating.
