John Franklin Clements, 60

DECEMBER 31 — John Franklin Clements, 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Friday, December 27, 2013.

Mr. Clements owned and operated Emerson and Clements Woodyard in Dillwyn. He was a passionate outdoorsman who loved to go on hunting trips, horseback riding and spend time on his beloved farm. He valued spending time with his family and friends doing the things he loved most.

He is survived by his parents, Ralph and Mattie Clements of Cumberland; daughters, Tatum Clements of Avon, NC and Raden Clements Love of Bedford, IN and his granddaughter, Phebe Love also of Bedford, IN.

His family would like to express love and gratitude to everyone who supported him during his illness.

A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30at the Clements Family Cemetery, Cumberland.

Mr. Clements received great care at this hospital and was very supportive of Dr. David Polter and his colleague’s research.
