November 7 — Happy Birthday wishes are sent out to Betty Waycaster, of Dillwyn, and Eric Cooke, of Cartersville, celebrating on Friday, November 8, and Frankie Branham, of Cumberland, and Rebecca Moore, of The Woodlands, celebrating Wednesday, November 13.

Pat Hawks, of Cumberland spent Monday afternoon in the home of Annie May Miles in Dillwyn on November 4. A nice time was noted.

Spreading God’s Gifts Inc. held their final fundraising dinner concert of the year on Saturday evening, November 2, at the First Baptist Church in Dillwyn. A total of $925 was raised. Thanks to everyone for everything done to make this fundraiser a success again.

Note: Veterans Day is Monday, November 11. Let us be in prayer for those who have fought, and continue to fight as well as their families for our freedom.

Maranatha Baptist Church in Prince Edward County will host their Annual Harvest Fest on Saturday, November 9 starting at 3 p.m.
