Happy Birthday wishes are sent out to Virginia Boyles, of Cumberland, celebrating on Friday, September 27; Eloise Senger, of Crewe, celebrating on Saturday, September 28, and Patricia Woodfin of Dillwyn, celebrating on Wednesday, October 2.

The Allen Family Reunion was held on Sunday, September 15 at Allen’s Lake. A large crowd attended with lots of good food, family and friends.

Welcome home to Pete Miles of Dillwyn. He spent Sunday, September 8 through Tuesday, September 24 at the hospital. He is said to be doing ok as of this writing.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who are sick and shut-in.

The Gormus family reunion was held on Saturday, September 21 at the Bear Creek Lake State Park Conference Center. A large crowd attended and enjoyed great food, fun and fellowship.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association a non-profit organization will hold their regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 7 at 5 p.m. in Rocky Mount United Methodist Church, located off of U.S. Route 15 North of Dillwyn.

All members are cordially invited to attend and bring a covered dish for the evening meal. Following this will be a Jam Session in which member and guests are asked to participated by bringing their musical instruments to share talents.
