During the June meeting of the Buckingham County Board of Supervisors, Chairman I. Monroe Snoddy, on behalf of the BOS and the county’s administrative staff, presented a plaque citing their appreciation to Tana Knott for her service “as journalist reporting our county news while highlighting the county’s history, people and sense of community.” Knott recently retired from The Farmville Herald after serving as staff reporter covering Buckingham for over a quarter of a century.
