Margaret “Mickey” Belchee Eldred, 90

CLAYTOR LAKE, July 2 – Margaret “Mickey” Belchee Eldred, 90, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 27, 2013. She was known as “Nonnie” to her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was born in Bramwell, WV, graduated high school in Welch and attended Concord College. Married in 1946, they lived in Richmond before retiring at Claytor Lake in the Snowville area of Pulaski County. She was a member of Snowville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Eldred is survived by her husband of 66 years, Everett F. Eldred; son, William Eldred and wife, Renae; son-in law, Parker Terry; grandchildren, Trip Terry, Michael Eldred and Stephen Eldred along with several cousins, nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Terry.

She will be especially missed by the friends with whom she walked many miles at Claytor Lake.

A funeral service was held at the Snowville Baptist Church on Monday, July 1.

Graveside service was held Tuesday, July 2 at Westview Cemetery, Farmville.
