Twin Lakes State Park announces the following weekend events:
Friday, June 14, 6 p.m., “Family Game Night” – board games, card games, puzzles, and more; 8 p.m., “Make New Friends Campfire” – make some new friends at the park, sing songs, hear great stories, and enjoy s'mores;
Saturday, June 15 – 4 p.m. “Can You Dig It?” – a mock archaeological dig; take home a special treasure; meet in the Nature Nook; fee $2 per person; $6 per family; 8:30 p.m., “Owl Prowl” – make an owl call on Prince Edward Lake, meet in the Concession Stand parking area and take a short night hike to the calling location;
Sunday, June 16, 10 a.m., “Father's Day Fishing Tournament” – meet at the Interpretive Circle at 9:45 a.m. to kick-off the third annual Father's Day Fishing Tournament with four trophies; admission to the tournament is free and poles will be available to loan for the program, 10 am. – noon, adults must have valid fishing license, sign-up in the Main Office for more info.
