John Carrol Eagles, 80

MAY 16 – John Carrol Eagles, 80, of Farmville, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1933 in Rice.

He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army. He worked as a certified locksmith.

Mr. Eagles is survived by a niece, Judy J. Perry (Pat) of Ahoskie, NC; special friend, Teen Eagle of Farmville and close friends, Andy and Jane Eagle of Keysville and Kim, Gary, Logan and Walker Newcomb also of Keysville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora M. Eagles.

A graveside service was held Thursday, May 16 at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice.
