MAY 7 – Annie Lee Perkins, 88, of Farmville, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Petersburg. Miss Perkins was born in Prospect, January 2, 1925, to the late Lillie Belle Davis and Elijah T. Perkins. She was retired from Craddock and Terry Shoe Corp.

She is survived by a sister, Margaret V. Perkins of Laurel, MD; two sisters-in-law, Betty M. Perkins and Emily J. Perkins, both of Farmville and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Reuben C. Perkins and Thomas T. Perkins, sisters, Lou P. Dowdy, Frances P. Pittman and Ruby P. Tyler, her half-sister, Jennie P. Rothgeb and five half-brothers, John Perkins, Edward Perkins, Pete Perkins, Russell Perkins and Wilbur Perkins.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 9 in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
