The Prospect Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary thanks one and all for their support on Saturday night at the spaghetti supper.

Mrs. Peggy Kelsey, Mrs. Kim Shumaker and Debra Sue Shumaker were guests at the baby shower for Kendall Tanaka at the Fellowship Hall at Muddy Creek Baptist Church in Powhatan on Sunday afternoon. Kendall is the granddaughter of Polly Duncan, formerly from Tuggle (Prospect).

On April 8, Mrs. Peggy Kelsey, Mrs. Kim Shumaker and Debra Sue Shumaker attended the Junior Varsity softball game at Appomattox High School. Celena Kelsey is on the team, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Kelsey and the granddaughter of Mrs. Peggy Kelsey.

Mrs. Betty Meadows and Mrs. Margaret Stockton visited Mrs. Eloise Wood Tucker the first of the week. Eloise was celebrating her 92 birthday.

Mrs. Julia M. Shotwell of Richmond spent Thursday and Friday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Meadows of Farmville.

Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Don Meadows met Mr. and Mrs. Andy Shotwell, Josh and Kate, of Richmond, at Allen's Restaurant in Powhatan to celebrate Josh's birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. William Amos enjoyed the spaghetti supper at the Prospect Fire House on Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Meadows; Mr. and Mrs. George Moore, Jr.; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stockton enjoyed the delicious spaghetti supper and fellowship at Prospect on Saturday

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Noblin traveled to Chesapeake on Thursday; on their way they stopped to see her sister then on to visit their son and his family until Saturday. While in Chesapeake the family celebrated Betty and her grandson, Brady's birthdays. Their birthday was on the fourth.

Mr. and Mrs. John Fulcher and Pearl Fulcher enjoyed the Spaghetti supper at Prospect on Saturday night.

Mrs. Flora Bolt was treated to lunch by Mrs. Peggy Kelsey on Friday at Merk's Place.

Those attending the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary spaghetti dinner on Saturday night were: Mrs. Flora Bolt, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bolt, Stacy Bolt, Chace Davis, Garland Woodson, Mr. and Mrs. John Gager, and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Southall. Gene Southall walked away with one of the door prizes. The food and fellowship was great.

Mrs. Flora Bolt visited Mrs. Edna Woodson at Trinity Mission on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Bolt, Haley and Payden; and Mrs. Flora Bolt enjoyed lunch at Country Cookin' on Sunday.

On April 7, Mrs. Flora Bolt visited Cindy Hedrick at Rice as well as Frances Bolt at Rice.

Family, friends and neighbors wish a speedy recovery for those who are sick at this time Gloria Mae Fulcher Rosser, Billy Young and Bill Kerns.

Appomattox P.E. Presbyterian Church at Tuggle invites everyone to Sunday School at 10 a.m. with worship at 11 a.m. The Rev. Chuck Klotzberger will be in the pulpit this Sunday.

The membership of Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church at Prospect invites you to come and worship with them every Sunday; Sunday School is at 10 a.m. with

worship at 11 a.m. The Rev. Katherine Todd will bring the message on Sunday.

Calvary Chapel-Farmville invites you to worship with them on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. They invite you to join them each week on Wednesday evening for Bible Study for all age groups at 7 p.m. Calvary Chapel-Farmville is located at 45 Simpson Road in Prospect, two miles west of Dowdy's Corner just off of US 460.
