It may be no surprise to a lot of people when the DOD is capable of spending $800 on toilet seats but let no one believe that this is all fixed.

Homeland Security is buying many millions of rounds of .223 and .40 ammo. Far more than there are citizens and illegal aliens in America.

Either they are gearing up for massive civil unrest or they are shooting millions of rats eating government grain and food.

The Geneva Convention bans hollow points in warfare. Yet Homeland Security if buying almost all hollow point ammo. If the feds shoot at me I want to die. But why does not the Convention apply in civil disorder cases?

Even more interesting is the gross hypocrisy. Homeland Security has an RFP out for bids on 700,000 AR-15 type rifles over five years. They are billed in the RFP as personal defense weapons but are capable of fully automatic fire (ie. machine guns). When you own an AR type gun Obama, Schumer, Clinton and Feinstein all call the assault weapons. Yours is only capable of semi-automatic fire.

And the RFP has two serious flaws. I have written to the buyer three times and called her three times. No response. Typical of the mostly grossly unskilled contracting people. I have dealt with several thousand of them since 1959. They have not improved much in those years.

Does any of the above disturb anyone beside me?
