Barry Miles, of Cumberland, along with Susie Taylor, of Dillwyn, and Patricia Woodfin, of New Canton, enjoyed an evening meal at a Gordonsville Restaurant on Monday, March 25.
Dot Brown, of Richmond, spent a few days in the home of her sister, Ann Carter in Dillwyn.

Rodney Ownby, his nephew, Robbie Ownby, both of Dillwyn, participated in a fishing tournament in Columbia on Saturday, March 23. A big congratulations to Rodney Ownby who won first place catching a 25-pound catfish.
Larry and Barbara Barone, of Cumberland, visited in the home of Pete and Annie May Miles in Dillwyn on Wednesday afternoon, March 27.

Arvonia Christian Fellowship Church, located off of U.S. 15 North of Dillwyn in Arvonia on State Route 672, will host a gospel sing on Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m.
Featured will be Danny Figgins (the Singing Policeman) of Front Royal. Presenting Southern Gospel music. Following this will be a message from God's Holy Word. A love offering will be received. Cedar Baptist Church, located just off of U.S. Route 15 North of Dillwyn on State Route 650 (Trent's Mill Rd.) host a Men's Promise Keepers Prayer Breakfast each Sunday morning (excluding fifth Sundays) from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
The Arvonia Christian Fellowship Church Thrift Store, located on U.S. Route 15 North of Dillwyn in Arvonia, is open every Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds from the thrift store are used to help individuals and families in their hour of need. First Baptist Church, located on Main Street in Dillwyn will host a Southern Gospel Music sing on Sunday evening, April 7 at 6 p.m. Featuring Danny Figgins (the Singing Policeman) from Front Royal. A love offering will be received.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a non-profit organization, will hold their regular monthly meeting on Monday, April 1 at 5 p.m. at Hatcher Baptist Church (located on Trent's Mill Road) in Cumberland.
