Pete and Annie May Miles, of Dillwyn, visited in the homes of Larry and Barbara Barone, Kevin and Rene Marion and Curtis and Faye Marion, all of Cumberland, on Saturday, March 16.

A special get well wish goes out this week to Shirley Gormus, of Arvonia, and Agnes Ogle, of Cumberland, from your friends. Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland and Jane Cookie, of Brookneal, all enjoyed an afternoon meal at a Richmond Restaurant on Saturday, March 16.

Sympathy is extended to the Daniels family of Cumberland. Harrison Daniels, 74, of Cumberland went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 16. Funeral Services were held on Monday, March 18 at Powhatan. He will be greatly missed by all.

Patricia Woodfin, of New Canton, Susie Taylor, of Dillwyn, and Barry and Linda Miles all enjoyed breakfast on Monday morning, March 18, at a Scottsville Restaurant.

Spreading God's Gifts Inc. will host a non-denominational worship service on Thursday evening, March 28, 7 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Buckingham.

Everyone is cordially invited to come and hear special music by More Blessed from the Union Branch Baptist Church of New Canton. There will also be testimonies and a message from God's Holy word. A donation box will be available. Monies raised will be used to further the ministry and help others in their hour of need. Refreshments will follow and will include coffee and cookies.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a non-profit organization, will hold their regular monthly meeting on Monday, April 1 at 5 p.m. at Hatcher Baptist Church, located on Trents Mill Road in Cumberland.

All members are asked to attend and bring a covered dish for the supper hour and a flower or plant to exchange if desired.
