Rodger and Laura Childress, of Darlington Heights, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Rae, to Seth Otey, son of Vern and Kyna Otey, of Lunenburg.

The future bride graduated from Hollins University in 2009 with a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science. She is employed through Hampden-Sydney College in the Global Education Department.

The future groom received a bachelor of arts degree from Hampden-Sydney College in 2007 and is currently a conductor for Norfolk Southern.

A September wedding is planned.
