Cartersville Baptist Church announces its second annual 5K Mission Run, to benefit the Team Nicaragua Mission team and Second Chance Ministries. It is a fast course on flat terrain that takes you from the Cartersville Ruritan house through the historic Cartersville village and along the James River. The race is to be held on Saturday, April 20, at 8 a.m. and registration can be done either in person or online at raceit.com (Second Chance 5K Mission).

The purpose of the mission is for youth and adults to serve the people of Esteli, Nicaragua through the Second Chance Ministries.

Early registration is $15 before April 1; a t-shirt is provided. Registration after April 1 is $20. Registration closes online on April 19. Awards will for top overall male and female runners as well as age division awards.
