Virginia Cooperative Extension is offering a six-part comprehensive vegetable garden series that will be held the Tuesday evenings February 12, 19, 26 and March 12, 19, 26 at the Prince Edward Extension Office. The workshops will be from 6:30 – 8 p.m., and speakers will be covering topics from the varieties of all major vegetables that grow best in this area of the state to common diseases and pests to soils and soil amendments to composting. The optional $10 fee covers a printed reference notebook.

Please call the Cumberland Extension Office at 804-492-4390 to register by February 9th to get a headcount for the materials. There will be a 12 person minimum and a 25 person maximum.
