FEBRUARY 12 – Josephine E. Faris, 85, of Farmville, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in Farmville. She was born December 25, 1927 to the late Jennings R. and Estelle Pettway Elder.

She is survived by a son, David Wayne Faris of Iowa.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 9 at the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery.
