Red roses and paper hearts are just the start; join the LCVA as they host their annual Art to Your Heart's Content: Valentine Workshop on Saturday, February 9th. With a variety of art activities the workshop gives families the opportunity to make a host of sweet valentine treats to share with loved ones. Held at the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts in downtown Farmville from 10 a.m. to noon, the free family workshop is open to all. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The workshop celebrates historic Valentine's Day traditions and features themed art activities. Children will be able to make heartfelt Valentine cards, foam flower bouquets, paper mailboxes and hearts to wear on their sleeve. All supplies will be provided free of charge, and skilled helpers will be on hand to assist. Complimentary refreshments will also be available.
