On Saturday, Feb. 9, at 5 pm at the Cumberland County Public Library the Friends will host a benefit to raise money for a remodel of the Library's Children's Area. Desserts and live music are included in the ticket price. Attendees may also participate in raffles for gifts donated by local individuals, groups, and businesses. Raffle tickets, only sold during the event, are $1. Tickets to attend are $5 in advance or $6 at the door. Door prizes will also be drawn. The Library is located at 1539 Anderson Highway, Cumberland, next to the School Board offices. For more details call (804) 492-5807.
