White Bird Appaloosa Horse Rescue will hold a holiday event Friday, Dec. 14, 5-8 p.m. Spend a candlelit evening with some friendly, rescue horses at White Bird. Listen to carols and enjoy mulled cider, or hot chocolate, and cookies.

For a small donation you can help fill a horse's stocking, or buy a Christmas tree ornament, or some cookies, and help care for the horses.
