Prince Edward County High School head coach Bruce Bogese was named the Southside District's volleyball Coach of the Year in recent voting by the league's coaches.

PECHS senior setter Amie Dews and freshman middle hitter Diamond Boxley were named to the First Team.

Senior hitter Lucia Davis and senior setter Taylor Reinson received Second-Team honors, while senior passer Emily Borum received Honorable Mention recognition.

Joining Bogese with high honors was Southampton junior middle hitter Madeline Kahle.
