Thank you for your support of the 2012 Family and Farm Day at the Virginia Tech Southern Piedmont Agricultural Research and Extension Center on September 8. There were 623 attendees from 17 countries. This was excellent participation and an increase from the 578 attendees from 15 countries that attended the 2011 Family and Farm Day.

The objective of Family and Farm Day is to educate the general community about the benefits and importance of agriculture. There were hands-on, inquiry-based learning activities at many of the exhibits which are what we needed to educate the next generation about all the exciting aspects of agriculture and science. Your help was invaluable to the success of Family and Farm Day. Thank you again for your support.
