Clover Hill Wine Festival Set For Aug. 25

On Saturday, August 25, the Appomattox County Historical Society will host its third annual Clover Hill Village Wine Festival. The festival will be open from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. and will cost $15 per person at the gate. Advance tickets are available for $10 in Appomattox at RE/MAX Realty Connection, Babcock House Bed & Breakfast, Appomattox TrueValue Hardware and the Appomattox Community Center. Advance tickets may also be purchased from the Appomattox Historical Society at Clover Hill Village and the Appomattox Historical Museum in the old county jail in courthouse square. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
The entrance fee includes a souvenir Clover Hill Village wine glass and wine tasting from seven local wineries. Twenty craft and merchandise vendors will have items for sale, food and beer will be available for purchase, and live entertainment will be provided by the Wysteria band.
Clover Hill Village is located at 5747 River Ridge Road, Appomattox, a mile off Highway 24, approximately three miles east of U.S. 460 and the town of Appomattox. From Appomattox on Highway 24, River Ridge Road is the first right turn after the entrance to the National Park.
